Private red rock experience

Where light pours through stone

A full day in the high desert around Page, from the glowing slot canyons of Antelope to the great curve of Horseshoe Bend and the wide painted desert in between. We walk with respect for the place and time to take it in.

It's a longer day and a further drive — and worth every mile. You travel caravan-style in your own vehicle, with Jenny leading the way and the stories flowing between stops.

Itinerary

How the day unfolds

Stop 01 · Early

Depart Sedona, cross the painted desert

An early start, caravan-style, as we drive north across the wide painted desert toward canyon country and the town of Page.

Stop 02 · Midday

Into Antelope Canyon

We enter the slot canyon with a local canyon guide and watch the light pour down between sculpted sandstone walls.

Stop 03

Deeper into the slot

We move slowly through the canyon’s curves and chambers — every few steps a new shape, a new color in the stone.

Stop 04 · Afternoon

Horseshoe Bend overlook

We walk out to the rim above the Colorado River’s great sweeping curve — one of the Southwest’s most iconic views.

Stop 05 · Golden hour

Lake Powell & the drive home

A last look over the blue water of Lake Powell against red rock, then we caravan back toward Sedona as the desert cools.
